A loyal soul leaves the Linseis family business

Doris Heintel retires after 46 years

Where there was once a typewriter, there are now two screens, a computer and a printer. The only work material that reminds Doris Heintel of her beginnings at Linseis is the pile of paper on her desk. “It hasn’t been completely cleared up yet, but it’s getting a lot less!” says Doris Heintel.

Ms. Heintel began her training as an industrial clerk in the Linseis family’s private home on September 1, 1977. She witnessed first-hand how the family business became an international medium-sized company. In the beginning, she wrote quotations for the data recorders of the time for a training salary of 415 Deutschmarks and ensured smooth shipping abroad. She experienced the transition from typewriters to computers, from customer files to customer relationship software and the change of three generations at Linseis.

Doris Heintel was also bid farewell by the Works Council at her celebration (from left to right: Erika Hahn, Doris Heintel and Works Council Chairwoman Lisa Busch)
Managing Directors Claus Linseis, Dr. Vincent Linseis and Florian Linseis thanked Doris Heintel for her many years of loyalty and outstanding work and wished her a relaxing retirement. Gifts and words of thanks also came from the employees.
